Plans and billing
Understand plans and record limits
Compare QuillDock plans, understand the 14-day trial, and see what happens if your source is over the record limit.
What this article helps with
Use this guide if you want to compare QuillDock plans, check the free trial, compare monthly versus yearly billing, or understand why QuillDock is blocking preflight or publish because the source is too large.
This guide is for
Anyone reviewing plan fit, record limits, or billing-related messages in Plan & Access, Home, or Preflight review.
Plans at a glance

Pro | $79/mo | $758.40/yr | 5,000 |
Scale | $149/mo | $1,430.40/yr | 10,000 |

Yearly billing saves 20% versus paying the monthly price for a full year.
What changes by plan
Right now, paid plans differ by record limit only.
That means active paid plans still include the same product capabilities:
- Google Sheets and Airtable
- Manual publish
- Scheduling when the site is eligible
- Collection creation during setup
- Automatic backups before publish
- Restore from an existing backup
- Stale review
Trial behavior
- QuillDock includes a
14-dayfree trial - The trial uses

What counts as a record
QuillDock counts one source row or one source record as one record.
For example:
- One Google Sheets row counts as one record
- One Airtable record counts as one record
QuillDock checks this against the latest preflight result.
What happens when the source is over the limit
If the source is larger than the current plan allows:
- QuillDock keeps the current source and configuration visible
- QuillDock blocks preflight completion and write actions
- QuillDock shows upgrade guidance for the next plan that fits
For sources larger than 5,000 rows or records, QuillDock may direct you to Scale instead of a normal self-serve upgrade.
When to contact support
Contact support if QuillDock shows the wrong plan after a completed Wix billing change, if the record-limit message does not match the latest preflight you just ran, or if Wix billing is active but QuillDock still blocks writes as if the plan is inactive.
