Save or pause future schedule intent

Problem

You want to save a daily or weekly schedule, change timezone or cadence, or keep QuillDock paused on purpose without losing the saved schedule plan.

Who this is for

Operators managing the saved schedule plan after setup and manual publish are already in place.

What you will see

  • Schedule lets you choose cadence, local time, and timezone
  • QuillDock keeps a saved intent even when execution is paused or blocked
  • the route shows both the saved intent and the current effective posture

Important behavior

  • Saving schedule intent does not guarantee QuillDock will run immediately.
  • QuillDock still needs an active schedule posture before it can queue due work.
  • Config changes, restore, or failed scheduled runs can pause execution while keeping the saved intent intact.

Step-by-step resolution

  1. Open Schedule.
  2. Choose Daily or Weekly.
  3. Set the local time and timezone you want QuillDock to use.
  4. Save the schedule in enabled mode when the site is ready to automate.
  5. Save the schedule in paused mode when you want to preserve the timing plan without queueing future runs yet.

When to contact support

Contact support if the saved cadence or timezone does not persist, or if the route keeps showing a stale saved intent after you refresh and reopen the app.
