Use this guide if QuillDock will not save your mapping or will not let you continue to preflight.

This guide is for

Anyone matching Google Sheets or Airtable fields to fields in a Wix CMS collection.

What you'll see

• Suggested mappings for fields with compatible names and types
• Validation messages that explain why the mapping is incomplete or unsupported
• Save or Continue staying disabled until the mapping is valid
• Unsupported or incompatible field pairings staying visible so you can fix them

What to do

1. Open Configuration / Mapping.
2. Review any suggested mappings, but confirm them manually.
3. Choose exactly one match key.
4. Make sure the match key uses a text or number field on both sides.
5. Add at least one more mapped field.
6. Remove unsupported, duplicate, or incompatible pairings.
7. Save the mapping only after every validation message clears.
8. Continue to Preflight review only after the mapping is saved cleanly.

Field types QuillDock supports today

QuillDock currently supports these Wix target field types:

• Text
• Number
• Boolean
• Date and time
• URL
• Single image
• Single file
• Single reference

Visible but unsupported fields can stay on screen for reference, but QuillDock will not let you map them.

Common reasons mapping stays blocked

• There is no match key
• More than one field was marked as the match key
• The match key uses incompatible field types
• The same source or target field is mapped more than once
• Only the match key is mapped and no other field is included
• One or more selected fields are not currently supported

When to contact support

Contact support if the fields look compatible but QuillDock still refuses to save, if save or preflight stays disabled after all visible validation messages are cleared, or if a previously valid mapping becomes invalid after source or target changes.
